BOWEN THERAPY DIPLOMA TRAINING

The Diploma programme consists of two areas of study: ‘specialisation units’ comprising the Specialised Bowen procedures and ‘common units’ of material including knowledge and skills advantageous to all professional therapists.

The ‘specialisation units’ comprise a series of four three-day, extensive hands-on training modules which include the ‘Specialised Bowen Procedures’, a series of dynamic procedures which address the whole body including links to systems anatomy, fascial anatomy and embryological aspects.

Clinical assessment, ‘special’ tests and rehabilitation aspects are also included to help the practitioner, especially with clients who have chronic or more persistent problems.

A practitioner logbook is included in the ‘specialisation units’ requirement.

The ‘common units’ required for the Diploma of Specialised Bowen Therapy qualification are distributed throughout the Module programme and are designed to enhance your practice and understanding of Bowenwork. They comprise a series of assignments including: a research task, Manage a Practice, professional reflection, anatomy and Bowen specific assessments.
