Tina Price qualified as a Bowen therapist in 2000 and went on to Diploma level in 2008. “A new century. A new career.”
After receiving treatment for her painful hands due to constant use as a massage therapist, Bowen therapy was an almost instant fix for her. Tina says,
Being a Bowen therapist has been a life changer for me and helping others is both humbling and satisfying and a worthy career.
Tina runs a busy practice in beautiful Bonville, a few minutes’ drive south of Coffs Harbour on the NSW mid-north coast. In 2010 she became a Bowtech Bowen trainer and assessor with Bowen Training Australia and she now teaches in the Certificate IV in Bowen Therapy 10846NAT. Tina says that teaching others has been fun, exciting, and at times challenging. She loves the excitement she sees in her students at learning this amazing therapy. Each class is so diverse and she loves that the students are all from different backgrounds and walks of life. Tina is continually learning and much of this stems from teaching her students. Her hope is that Bowen therapy becomes the number one “go-to therapy,” as she believes that having a high success rate with her clients’ health is possible.
Tina offers classes throughout the year in Bonville/Coffs Harbour and in mid-north country NSW. She welcomes students to stay in her home if they are travelling from a distance.
Bowenwork has taken me on some exciting and challenging journeys to country Australia working with people in Aboriginal communities, and to the Philippines working in missions and areas where people were affected by devastating typhoons. I have found the effects of Bowen therapy to be quite remarkable, and I am thrilled to teach others the wonders of Bowen.
Individual treatment results vary as no two bodies are the same.
